STREET MEKKA
The Remis building’s industrial heritage and central location in Esbjerg is a strong starting point for the project, a mix of street sports, heritage, raw materials, community and committed users.
Through a combination of preservation, transformation and new buildings, we developed the Remis property into a mekka for street sports. The new and existing halls are gathered around the shared outdoor space, which becomes the central social space, underlined by a strong relation between inside and outside.
